Christina Maki, President/Principle Owner
From humble beginnings in 1999, Christina Maki began start up operations as both the President and owner of Santa Fe Protective Service, Inc. The first government contract awarded was a multi-million dollar effort for the Department of Energy at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP), located in southern NM. This occurred in February, 2001 and under her stewardship, the company has enjoyed steady and diversified growth.
She has a business background with her core expertise in accounting. Since 1998 she has thorough experience and effort, become well versed in myriad business components of the company. Her primary focus is to ensure that customer service remains the number one priority with emphasis driven toward enhancing our standing with all of our clients through providing services that exceed expectations.
Mark Liming, Vice President, Business Operations
As the VP for Business Operations, Mark is responsible for all business units within the company. Specially, company growth through bid and proposal efforts, HR, accounting, Field Operations, Quality Assurance, company Safety Officers and the corporate support staff. He brings over twenty-five years of experience in both the Military and security field. After separating from the Air Force in 1983, he began contract work with the Department of Energy, Savannah River Site. He steadily rose through the ranks, attaining a Manager position for the physical security in support of the sole reactor for the Nations nuclear weapons program. During his assent to this position, he held a variety of positions geared toward supervision of personnel, Quality assurance, security audits, compliance reviews and tracking and monitoring of suspense dates for corrective action. In 1992, he was recruited to join the security team at the Los Alamos site, as the Manager of Field Operations. This was a senior level manager position with a labor budget in excess of eighteen (18) million dollars. He also was a successful independent consultant and focused on direct implementation of comprehensive security systems for protection of individuals, programs and property.
He has held positions in both public safety and Law Enforcement, serving the community of Santa Fe, New Mexico. During this time, he was highly regarded as a professional among his peers and the public.
Allen B. Bowser, CPP – Vice President, Business Development
Mr. Bowser has over 40 years of protective force experience. Following a distinguished career in the United States Air Force, retiring in the grade of Colonel and as the Director of Law Enforcement and Training, he entered the corporate security world. For 14 years Mr. Bowser served in a variety of security roles, to include Executive Vice President of Government Security Services for a $2 Billion privately owned corporation. He joined SFPS in 2011 and in addition to growing the business he provides guidance and expertise to all of our current operations.
